The Amen
Nate Harrison's installation about the history of the Amen Break, it's use and sampling, it's role in the birth of Jungle, and what it means for copyright law. Very cool.

Knicks DOMINATE Celtics at the Garden

After being yelled at by the giant man next to me for "commentating the game" during warm-ups and declining his advice to "be quiet and watch the game", I was present to watch the Knicks avenge the beating they took last week in Boston to dismantle "God's Team" at the Mecca last night. Let me tell you what surprised me the most: Zach Randolph can play defense. Let me tell you what doesn't surprise me: Jamal Crawford likes shooting bad shots always. PREDICTION: KNICKS WIN THE ATLANTIC! Good luck to Boston bringing 'Brine, Posey, Perkins and Allen off the bench when we have David Lee, Nate Rob, Malik, Renaldo, and Jared Jeffries off our bench. Their bench REALLY got exposed last night. Two more things:
First: Note to Doc Rivers. Kevin Garnett is not a Center. Thanks. No really, he's not. Stop it.
Second: Leon Powe is NOT 6'8" as listed. He's more like 6'6" and with a bum knee. Call Lonny Baxter and ask him about the Italian league, and while you're at it ask him about buying some firearms.
